It goes without saying that since the last edition of Pharmapack
Europe in February 2020, the world has undergone remarkable changes. But
as we now gradually emerge from the pandemic, without doubt, the
contributions of the pharma industry in the last year have never been
more appreciated or more prominent. The speed of the vaccine development
and the industry’s agility to meet the global challenges faced has
given a renewed impetus to innovations.
We
see increased collaboration, increased investment, more innovators
developing new ideas, and an industrywide commitment to advancing
healthcare at record pace. It’s an incredibly optimistic time for our
exhibitors and attendees and with face-to-face meetings and events
returning, there is a real hope these can act as a further catalyst to
drive new ideas and growth. It’s also one of the reasons why we are so
excited to again be partnering with PMPS to reach out to their
like-minded and influential pharma and packaging readership. Both
editorially and as an event, we share many common interests, and are
challenging the industry towards innovation and a more sustainable
future.
Pharmapack Europe will once again
be held at the Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles, France (13-14 October)
and running alongside the in-person edition will be a fourweek digital
platform hosted from 27 September until 22 October. The event is
renowned in pharma as an event with a true community feel and, after the
last year of limited contact, there is a great deal of excitement about
sourcing, networking, and collaborating in person again – it’s the
lifeblood of the industry to build business connections.
