Our special CleanFlex® product line conforms to the particular requirements of the pharmaceutical, medical device, food and other related industries for flexible clean room packaging. Extrusion, printing, conversion and all further steps are consolidated and take place under class 5 clean room conditions according to DIN EN ISO 14644-1 at rest and cGMP.

The use of CleanFlex® packaging solutions therefore ensures a high level of product safety and quality throughout the whole clean room chain - from raw material reception, production and transportation to arrival at the customer's premises.

The CleanFlex® product range encompasses flat and tubular films, pre-manufactured primary and secondary packaging, single- and multi-ply bags, laminates and high barrier packaging as well as sterilisable and sterilised packaging solutions. And it grows with every individual, tailor-made packaging solution such as flexible containment systems as replacements for non-flexible components.

Due to the increasing requirements made on processing pharmaceuticals, B+K has established extraordinary production options for tailor-made containment systems under clean room conditions class 5 which extend permanently. Equipping packaging materials manufactured from PE, Tyvek® or laminates with individual spouts, valves or connectors creates the basis for different port solutions.

For other systems, which are based specifically on film know-how, B+K also produces optimal versions. These CleanFlex® films, which make use of a special sealing and cutting process, comply with the concept of complete containment.

 In accordance with relevant system engineering, B+K creates tailor-made containment packaging solutions for use in isolators or RABS together with its partners. Manufactured from flexible materials, these components, as part of a high-containment system, offer significant potential for reducing costs in comparison with the stainless steel parts used to date.
