Liège (Belgium) has decided to leverage its existing infrastructures, its exceptional bioscience environment and its unique multi-modal transportation capabilities to become a region of excellence in biologistics.

Biolog Europe is a public-private initiative that was launched in 2008 by the government of Wallonia.

Biolog Europe harnesses the assets already present in the region in terms of academic excellence, state-of-the art logistics infrastructures, biotech companies and incubators as well as the availability of a well-educated workforce.

The highly favourable environment includes an express cargo airport, home to the European hub of TNT and already operational in specialised logistics applications like the transport and storage of perishable goods, thanks to its dedicated sanitary inspection station. The highly favourable environment is reinforced by R&D incentives and investment and training grants.

Biolog Europe provides support for companies looking to set up in the region. We offer space in dedicated parks and incubators near the university or the airport and the access to a large business network.
