ESMO Targeted Anticancer Therapies Congress 2020

2-4 March 2020, Paris, France

A unique and international mix of experts, researchers and decision makers both from academia and industry across the globe, will convene in Paris for a three-day Congress aiming at exchanging knowledge, experience and research innovations in cancer. TAT 2020 will focus, among others, on novel strategies in immuno-oncology, personalised medicine and molecular tumour boards, preclinical studies to identify effective combination therapies, use of microbiome, tumour agnostic trials, ADC technology, oncolytics, multispecific biological constructs and targeting cytokines. Participating in TAT 2020 will offer you the possibility to take part in interdisciplinary discussions inspiring new ideas and new collaborations.

Whilst the majority of Clinical Professionals clients are working to discover and develop innovative, cost effective medicines that address unmet medical needs they are not impacting the unmet needs of training and developing new recruits into the pharma industry. The impact is highlighted within entry level Clinical Trial Administrators and Clinical Research Associates (CTA/CRA). In the past the Pharmaceutical industry had highly developed training programs for these sought after candidates. As the use of outsourcing models and CRO’s has increased and fewer Pharma businesses embark on their own R&D a substantial gap is developing in newly trained Life Science graduates entering the market to commence a career within R&D. As further financial cuts are made within R&D spend this already dire situation continues to escalate.

Data custodianship of connected devices, environmental impact and adherence technologies highlighted at Pharmapack Europe 2020

Paris, 19th February 2020: Improving adherence to medication via smarter, patient-centric pharmaceutical packaging and extracting further value from existing medicines and delivery devices are two of the latest key strategies aimed at reducing waste and protecting the bottom line, according to experts at the recent Pharmapack Europe (#pharmapackeu). The event is widely seen as an excellent yardstick of the industry’s prospects for the year ahead. Encouragingly, the event played host a record 411 exhibiting companies, 5366 attendees and 325 delegates.
