PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY EVENTS CALENDAR

Pharmaceutical Packaging and Device Labelling Europe

11-12 September 2018
Munich, Germany

Relaunching the event after a three year hiatus, Pharma Packaging and Labelling Europe is back to deliver key, actionable insight on the very latest regulatory requirements, technological innovations, strategic developments, and how to implement them into your packaging and labelling chain with both maximum efficiency and minimal cost. The conference is packed with thought provoking innovative discussions.

As the deadline for the FMD looms and with the new MDR regulations, ensuring patient safety and the right systems are in place is more crucial than ever. Meeting the deadlines and adhering to regulations will not only ensure compliance but will also deliver huge benefits to your business and the industry.

With the pharmaceutical industry facing pressure due to counterfeit medicines, the event will also focus on the importance of serialisation. Gaining a better understanding of how this is used on pharmaceutical packaging and labelling products will help you comply to the latest laws surrounding the industry.

The 2018 speaker line is bigger and better with top pharmaceutical companies, biotechs, CMOs and medical device companies such as Abbott, Sandoz, Alcon, Roche including regulatory bodies GS1, EAASM and many more.

Pharma Packaging and Labelling will bring you everything you need to ensure a successful and compliant implementation for your packaging and labelling. With a more interactive and hands on agenda including panel discussions; roundtables; speed networking; think tanks; mini workshops and more, this event will create an environment where commercial packaging and labelling teams from across all sizes of manufacturer can work together to manage creative, technical, and regulatory demands while ensuring patients are safeguarded at all stages.

Medpace Reference Laboratories establishes state of the art Flow Cytometry techniques for flexible approaches to clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas.

Medpace

Cytometry is the process of measuring the properties of individual cells. These properties may include gene or protein expression, chemical properties, deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) content, and various cellular functions. The earliest methods of cytometry relied upon light microscopy for the classification and observation of cells and cellular components. Microscopy permitted direct visual observation of cells for the first time, leading to the classification of cells by morphology and insight into cellular functions. However, the time required for microscopic analysis constrains the number of samples or number of cells in each sample that can be examined. Therefore, the utility of microscopy for analysis of rare cells or in situations where sample throughput is a priority is limited. Flow cytometry was developed largely to improve upon these limitations.
