were developed in Wallonia. The Frenchspeaking

advances in the fight against global
pandemics such as tuberculosis, malaria,
AIDS, cancer and neurodegenerative
diseases.
For nearly 50 years, Wallonia
has been fostering understanding and
know-how in molecular biology, genomics,
proteomics, stem cells, medical appliances
and equipment – all cutting-edge
technologies in the life sciences field, up to
and including cell research (such as ADN,
ARN, proteins and human genomes) and
the development of innovative diagnostics
and therapies.
