A Walk in the Cloud

Today, we are at a conjunction of three powerful trends that promise big opportunities for the biopharma industry: availability of increasing computational power, large datasets, and proven deep learning frameworks. We have seen advances in technology, such as rational design, high throughput screening, and genomics, which have opened up the playing field for developing new therapeutic drugs. From this starting point, the missing piece has been computational power to process and make sense of the disparate data.
