| The conference was opened by Nicole Lyscom of Vision in Business. Dr Kennedy, Chair of Genzyme Flanders, stated the three themes of manufacturing that would be covered by this meeting: quality, cost of goods and managing capacity. He stressed the need for quality in all manufacturing processes. The whole basis of regulatory and patient confidence in biomanufactured products is the quality that is designed into the manufacturing processes. |
