Clinical Trials: Managing 21st Century Risks

The system we have for the protection of human research subjects has not caught up to what is going on... the (research) world today isn't the one the system was designed for. There is more stuff going on and it is happening faster. We are trying to steer 21st Century biomedical research with a 19th Century navigation system.
