Optimising Outsourcing

Over the last decade, the European pharmaceutical market has experienced a healthy growth rate and developed a steady track record in terms of regulatory progress, with the industry now holding the title of the fifth largest in the continent (1).

The market’s trade surplus, investment into R&D, and highly skilled workforce makes it a competitive market for pharma development and manufacturing services. While the majority of pharma outsourcing takes place in Western Europe, Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries are becoming increasingly popular alternatives.
