Cold Chain Compliance

Maintaining end-to-end cold chain integrity is critical, with packaging vendors also utilising advanced temperature monitoring systems to help combat current cool chain challenges. Therefore, deploying high-performing, temperaturecontrolled packaging (TCP) solutions is vital to avoid temperature excursions within the pharmaceutical logistics cool chain and to help ensure the safe and secure transportation of health-giving and life-saving pharmaceutical products.

The market for transporting temperaturesensitive materials for healthcare, such as pharmaceuticals, blood, tissue, and organs, is a subsegment, currently valued at approximately US $2 billion and expected to grow to approximately US $5 billion by 2026.

With pharma companies developing ever-more complex and temperaturesensitive drugs, demand is growing to provide improved packaging performance and efficiency within cool chain logistics. Ensuring a secure, compliant cool chain from deployment of shipments to last mile delivery is also imperative.

How to Reduce Costs of Specialty Pharmaceutical Shipments and Increase Patient Satisfaction

Temptime Corporation
