From Manufacturing to Supply

The rise of industry concern about green initiatives has been growing for decades. This has had an impact on how individual citizens view their own decisions regarding their actions, the policies of their governments, and the actions of companies they patronise.

Sustainability is fast becoming a key focus for many organisations internationally, including pharmaceutical companies that are considering the long-term environmental consequences of their business decisions, their carbon footprint, and its impact on the planet. Within the global supply chain of the pharma industry payloads, packaging can significantly contribute to an organisation’s carbon footprint. Increasingly, efforts are being made to proactively reduce their carbon footprint.
