Welcome to the Parenteral Technology Supplement with PDA

PDA is pleased, once again, to have the opportunity to contribute to the PMPS’ Parenteral Technology Supplement. The annual Universe of Pre-Filled Syringes and Injection Devices Conference, which alternates between the US and Europe, is always an excellent opportunity to bring attendees up to speed on the latest developments in pre-filled syringes and other injection devices. PDA’s largest conference, which will be held in digital format for the second time, regularly brings together hundreds of experts from across the world to exchange ideas and learn from one another.

Like PDA, PMPS addresses the global community active in this sector; this supplement supports the innovation in the field of injectable drugs.

It is important to emphasise that new products and technological progress can only come from the cooperation of all stakeholders. This includes not only pharma companies, suppliers, and service providers, but also consultants, academic research institutions, and, last but not least, regulatory authorities.

Outsourcing and Insourcing: How Eurofins solves the bio/pharma industry’s challenges associated with meeting drug development timelines and budgets with restricted headcounts

Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing

Pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies face a significant challenge to get their drug products developed and launched quickly, all while keeping development costs down. One of the most common ways for companies to lower development costs is to manage fixed headcounts. But when the same scope of work still needs to be completed by a designated time with fewer staff members, this presents a significant challenge. So, how do bio/pharma companies solve this ever so common challenge of increasing output while decreasing headcount? There are essentially three options: temporary staffing, outsourcing, or insourcing.
