Labelling is an imperative part of the production process as nothing leaves the factory without a label or tag of some kind. Modern self adhesive labelling systems can 'learn' quickly and save different labelling application settings in their memories, whilst still being feature-rich and sophisticated, yet simple to use. No matter how fast coders and labellers operate there will always be a demand for higher throughputs. With many lines running at speeds of 800 or 900 per minute, the evolution of new technologies continues to help increase speeds, whilst roll-fed labelling has already reached the 800 per minute mark.
