Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Packing Sourcer

Putting All The Wood Behind One Arrowhead

The need to unify disparate automation and information systems into one package, especially in the pharmaceuticals sector, has led to the development of a collaborative software architecture that delivers positive results at the bottom line. Automation and information architecture provides a business model that enables the cost of developing new automation projects and the time needed to implement them to be dramatically reduced.

The total cost of ownership for automation projects is reduced since using this architectural approach facilitates the easy extension and expansion of existing systems to stay competitive and to add new manufacturing agility. Best of all, it enables the integration of existing investments in automation systems with the latest in technology so that production operations are the most efficient and cost-effective possible.

Reuse of engineering means that businesses can benefit because the software uses a common, modular plant application model. All popular services required for every application are now provided in a common set of infrastructure services, so users don't have to even deal with them in creating applications. Instead, their application efforts can be concentrated on their domain expertise. The software architecture also facilitates collaborative engineering because people can work in parallel, yet their application contributions are easily and automatically integrated.
