Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Packing Sourcer

There is no wider area for different types of packaging than the pharmaceutical and medical industries. One look in any pharmacy reveals all types of differently packaged products. Medicines prescribed by a doctor might, for example, be packaged in classic style amber glass bottles with a matt or gloss paper label simply containing data about the medicines. Over the counter (OTC) products are packed in a white polyethylene (PE) container decorated with a multicolour printed high-gloss label. In such cases, suitable labelling materials may be found relatively easily.
However, pharmaceutical labelling applications often involve small diameters. With medical ingredients found in increasingly concentrated dosages, there is a trend towards smaller diameter packaging. And when a squeezable low-density polyethylene (LDPE) nose or eye drop container needs to be labelled, things start to look rather different.
