Seven weeks after the official launch of Bio/PharMOS, manufacturing professionals on both sides of the
customer-contractor equation no longer asked "Why Monte Carlo?" The event, due to take place between 26th and 28th March 2002 had become such an established item on the global agenda of forthcoming events that its host, VB International, was already making arrangements for the following year.
The Roll Out of Bio/PharMOS
VB International is an entirely independent group of contract manufacturing consultants who saw the need for a dedicated event for contract manufacturing services. After careful research, VB International launched Bio/PharMOS (Biotech & Pharma Manufacturing Outsource Services) in order to combine an exhibition and a conference for pharma and biotech outsourced manufacturing services with worldwide reach. This will be held in Monte Carlo next March. At the launch of Bio/PharMOS, Vanina Broens, CEO of the Monaco-based consulting group, saw "an unfulfilled need in this important manufacturing sector".
