New compact actuator for Angle Seat Globe Valve

Gemu

The DN 6 to DN 15 valve bodies in 1.4408 and 1.4435 stainless steel are interchangeable with the GEMÜ 550 range. Other materials will follow in the course of the year. EPDM and NBR later also PTFE seat materials will be available.

The operating pressure is to max. 10 bar. The actuator is available in Normally Closed control function. The GEMÜ 554 30mm piston actuator compliments the existing small actuator of the GEMÜ 550 with its piston diameter of 28 mm. These small nominal sizes and outer dimensions make both valves particularly suitable for battery mounting in plant and machinery for the control of liquids and gases. Particularly in applications with higher operating pressures and slightly contaminated media they have an advantage over servo and indirectly controlled solenoid valves whose small control holes can easily get clogged.

The GEMÜ 554 range with now four actuator sizes and piston diameters of 30, 50, 70 and 120 mm can be used for universal applications. All actuators can be equipped with electrical position indicators, controllers and field bus systems to enable simple and quick integration in modern automation concepts.

But a new page in Wisconsin’s history of commerce is being written in our time – the emergence of stem-cell medicine. Recent events have solidified Wisconsin’s edge as a global leader in stem-cell research and the breakthroughs in human health it will produce (continued):
