13 March 2024 — Waldkirch, Germany — Faller Packaging has announced that its two managing directors, Dr Michael Faller and Dr Daniel Keesman, will step down from their positions for reasons of age. On 1 July 2024, Dagmar Schmidt will take over as chief executive officer (CEO) with responsibility for the entire Faller Packaging Group. Ms Schmidt can look back on a long and successful career with national and international companies in the chemical and package printing industries. Most recently, she was CEO at XSYS, a leading supplier of integrated solutions for flexographic printing, book printing and prepress services.
“Sustainability is an essential element of our corporate policy. This also applies to our planning when filling key management positions for the long term,” says Dr Michael Faller, who has led the company for 33 years. “We had these considerations in mind when planning and preparing for a successor with the Advisory Board,” adds Dr Daniel Keesman, who has been a managing partner since 2007. Both will continue to provide advice to the company after the change in management. Under their leadership Faller Packaging has shown strong growth, setting a new turnover record in 2023. Dr Faller and Dr Keesman are confident that this positive trend will continue with Ms Schmidt.
